Default New guy from Florida

Hey guys, my name's Sean. I just turned 17 and finally found my first vehicle I'm really happy I've got it, and I lucked out and got it for grand theft (As opposed to just "a steal"). $250 with only some minor issues

Here she is:

1991 F150 XLT Lariat
300 I6
Automatic
Long Bed
140k miles
Straight Pipes

Hopefully you guys can help me fix what's wrong too. The gas gauge only works sometimes, the tach goes to 3k when the key is in the accessory position, and just barely moves while driving. And I need to track down a new lock/weatherstripping for the slider window in the back. Any ideas where to find that cheap? Thanks in advance guys! And nice forum you got here

First order of business: Get the title signed over to me and bring her across town, back to my house.

It took the death of one of my mom's friend's husband for this deal to pop up, so careful what you wish for!

Lucky for me (sorta) I never knew the guy, so it really doesn't effect me besides feeling sorry for the wife. I do love the truck already though, I was seriously masking that until I knew I was buying it... Otherwise I'd have been dissapointed like so many other cars I'd looked at, specifically a '94 5.0 Mustang

I can't wait 'till next weekend when I should be able to bring her home!

Just remember, it's hot as hell in the summer. I was hanging out on the island on thursday, broke a sweat just standing there in the breeze after the sun went down

I can already picture how the sale went down.

"I'm sorry to hear about your husband, the love of your life.... how much?"

lol Nice truck though, reminds me of when I got my truck at 16.
