Hey everyone, new to the forum. Every time I seem to search for sometime for my truck I come across this site so I decided to join lol. I just bought my 07 supercrew back in June after I sold my Dakota, which was my first truck. Was tuff to get rid of my baby lol. Look forward to hanging out on this forum.

Lol, yeah I honestly still miss my kota once in awhile but it became more of a toy there towards the end the Lariat is just so nice it is a world of difference in trucks to me.

 

i bought a new 04 dakota 4x4. at 16000 miles the tranny crapped out, at 16100 the ball joints went. at 17030miles the computer went out. at 17035 i sold the thing. this is my first ford truck, i never even drove one until now. i have had dodges. gmc, and a yota. this is the most solid truck yet.

 

the only issue i had was the drivers window not going up. i took it apart cleaned the contacts and havent had a problem yet. but i do know if it decides to quit it will happen during our first noreaster. ha ha

 

I didn't buy my dakota (was a '00) till it had 86k on it. I never had any problems with it except a power steering pump went out after doing some HARD HARD donuts one night. Other than that it was a real good truck, I was lucky.

It went through h3ll and back though, got hit by a drunk driver b4 my senior year and long story short got it fixed, very poor job though. It leaked afterward, so i ripped the carpet out and drove her like that lol. Still drove like a champ though.
