Default New Guy

Hello, new to site. Bought a new F150 last week. Plan on doing a leveling kit like I did with my 04. What is the best size 18" tire to accommodate the leveling kit? Any other cheap or semi cheap mod ideas would be appreciated too. Thanks.

Welcome to the site.... Your level really depends on what size tire you are going with... 33's or 35's... Any case a 2" or a 2.5" will be good to go.. Your truck came with 18's?

Guess I asked wrong. I'm wondering who know what's the biggest tire I can run with just a two inch leveling kit on the front. Yep, 18 inch wheels. 2011 FX4. I had 305s on my 04 with 2" leveling kit.

I'm guessing your factory tires are about 31 to 32.4 inches... 33's will be slightly larger and i'm sure you dont want any rubbing...

This is Paw Paw's truck....He has 20's with 33's..though.... https://www.f150forum.com/members/pa...=gnr-img-album

Looks good. I also found an older thread where a discussion is. I think the 295/65r18 looks good also. I'm on the right track now. Thanks.

One more question, I don't want rear end lower that front end. How tall of a leveling kit can I get?

You'd have to measure your current height.. Each truck is different.. A 2.5 leveled me out perfectly.. It may only take a 2" for you..
