New to the forum, old guy new truck
Jack, here, just traded a 2000 Lariat with 160xxx miles for a 2018 . The low miles on previous truck was due to the fact I had 3 company vehicles over the same time span but needed to keep my 4x4 to haul my boats and toys.. Don't have any bad vibes on any of my previous vehicles. 2 Jeep Cherokees' both 4x4s, GMC loaded, Chevy loaded, Lariat Loaded, Nissan Pathfinder loaded, great SUV, can't say enough good things. Here's the rub. New 2018 4x4 SCREW, Long bed, 3.5 eco boost. Just 900 miles and already a recall. 1/2 day or more in shop for a Transmission cable clip. Also, I assume the auto stop/start is designed to save fuel, but will the start motor wear out sooner? I would like to put a Snugtop Hi-Liner camper shell on it but can't get a response from Snugtop website. Wan't to do some back country camping. Need suggestions on truck mods for backwoods travel. Someone said a 2 inch lift kit in front to level the truck.. WTF. Don't the factory people level the trucks before they ship? Is this too many questions for an intro post?
Thanks,
Jack
Thanks,
Jack
