I just purchased a beautiful black 2011 F150 FX4 Supercrew 3.5 Ecoboost with 88k miles. Having come from a foxbody Mustang I should have gone for the 5.0, I know, I know, but it's been a pleasure to drive so far. It's got a bed extender already on it so that's a plus!
I'm posting a picture of the truck and also the mustang, which I will sadly be selling soon to put towards the principle on my loan and to buy a few f150 parts.
Funny thing, when I bought it the dealer said it didn't have remote start, and I believed them. I still tried the 2x button on the key and nothing. Later I just happened to watch a video and saw that you need to lock the truck first, then remote start it. I went out and was pleasantly surprised that I had remote start after all! Has to cancel my eBay order from fairway Ford for a remote start antenna hehehe.
First couple things I'm looking to do to it are to replace the backup camera which is beginning to fail. I feel like I really need it since it's much bigger than anything I've driven before. The other thing is a tonneau cover, and I like the extang encore for ease of removal and ability to open from the cab side. If anyone has suggestions on something better, do let me know!
