Thumbs up New from Bama

Hey everyone. Been browsing a few Ford and F150 type forums and figured I'd sign up here. I pick up my new-to-me truck today. It's a 2010 F150 FX2 Screw with leather. Truck has 33k miles, one owner with no accidents.

Have to drive a little bit to pick it up as they are kind of hard to find around here. As with my luck it's nasty and pouring outside right now and the truck is black sooo what a way to break-in the clean truck

Here's some pics of the truck from the dealer. I'll have better pics once it's home and do a proper photoshoot with it.

I do have a question for you guys. Is the rear sliding window power or manual?

Thanks for the welcome guys. I sure hope its power cause it would be a pain if not being crewcab.

Sitting here about to go stir-crazy from having to wait until the CU prints my check then have to drive a bit but it'll be worth it! I missed on a white 2010 FX2 that was local but it had higher miles and no sliding rear window but it did have the rear view camera system, which my new truck doesn't. So it's a tradeoff and I'll use the sliding window more than the backup camera. I looked around and found the brandmotion OEm mirror, kind of pricey, so I may just buy one of those aftermarket wireless backup camera systems. Gotta do some research on them.

Anyways I'm stoked to pick up my new rig. I have never owned a Ford, mainly had Chebby's growing up, so this will be my 1st blue oval. I rented a 2011 F150 ext. cab from enterprise a few weeks ago when my Highlander was in the shop. It had the 5.0 and ran great. I didn't notice too much of a difference from the 5.4l FX2 I test drove from a power standpoint as I never really mashed on either truck. Just cruised which is my style. That 5.0 sure sounds good though for being stock exhaust. Very throaty.

Thinking I'll love it!
