Live in Florida, pretty well set on a new 150

The 3.5L Eco Boost is what has got me to change over to a Ford

But am running into the same garbage from the dealerships with regard to ordering a new truck--very frustrating but hope I will be able to work thru the ordering process

 

The 3.5 is a great engine, no shortage of fun nor power. Dealerships can be a pain sometimes, possibly try a different dealership? Good Luck and welcome!

Hard to believe I cant get a black interior in one of the bottom 3 lines of trucks in the fords

That is just plain out wrong AND stupid

Cant get a truck with black interior and no full console

I have tried many dealerships- gonna give it another go , I cant believe I would ever do this but I might end up buying a FOREIGN truck

No domestic manuf's offer black interior , no full console and black vinyal flooring

are you talking about getting an f150 xl?

 

you will need at least a lariat to get the 3.5 ecoboost, which u can get in any black grey or beige

 

I just took a look at the website and it will let you do a ecoboost xlt, and then It lets you choose black vinyl floor as an option under interior.

you can play around with the build & price on the ford website to get an idea of what you want

 

its funny, I did the same thing but with the regular cab u can get the 3.5 ecoboost

What I want in a truck is a black Vinyal floor covering ( no carpet ) Which is standard in the XL and an option in the XLT , 40 / 20 / 40 front bench ( not a full console truck ) and black interior

Ford will not put a black interior in any of the lower 3 truck lines which are XL , XL sport ,and XLT. You can get a black interior in a XLT sport but all XLT sports are 40 / console / 40 trucks , they will not order a XLT sport with the 40/20/40 bench front------ although there is ONE @ my local dealership which they and everyone else is saying was a error

If I cant get a domestic truck with a black interior , bench seat , and no carpet , I will start to look @ toyotas and nissans next week

Sad state of affairs in ordering trucks today- the greed is unbelievable

 

Have you spoken to the fleet manager? They usually can order whatever you want if it can be made. You could always have them give u a black interior to get the deal done. They always seem to offer that. Besides, most ford sales guys that I have dealt with no less then nothing regarding the vehicles they sell but are definite about everything.
