Default Mirror upgrade

New here, hello

I have a 2020 xlt302a with regular mirrors with turning lights. Looking to upgrade to tow mirrors with puddle lights, auxiliary lamps and clearance lamps. Now what style of wire pin connectors are used in the door jam? Any info is most appreciated

You either have the 8 pin or 22 pin. Take off the door cap behind the mirror and take a look. Super easy.

Mirrors are also super easy to swap. Door panel does not need to come off, just the cap behind the mirror on the inside of the door.

Thank you for the welcoming, awesome page!
I have a 8pin already have the 22pin plug and play adapter. But the 3 wires puddle, auxiliary and clearance lamp wires, not sure on the male pin adapter size 1.2mm etc.
also I know the puddle lamp wire goes into #10 spot in the door jam harness, not sure of the auxiliary and clearance lamp locations?
any info helps. Thanks

On my truck with the 8 pin all that works on my tow mirrors is heat (if you have defrost), power and turn signal. I spliced the turn signal to the running light so both the front and back of the mirror flashes.

with the 8 pin, you would need to run wires through the door to the module to power the running light, puddle, etc.
