Default I got Screwed

Hey everyone, recently picked up a '13 XLT SCREW Ecoboost. I was having difficulties towing my boat with my Lexus IS300, so I decided it was time to get a sufficient tow vehicle. Got a great deal with all the rebates, and landed on this with 11 miles on her. Loving it so far! Looks like I need a 2.5" leveling kit, some BMF Novakane's, a little work with some black vinyl, a tonneau cover, and some new tires. Looking forward to modding this thing up. I can't get over the sound of the turbos... it sounds so sweet. Anyway, here's a couple pictures of it:

The night I brought it home...

I had to go pull with it!

welcome to the forum, but I can't believe you were towing anything with an IS300

enjoy the truck, you're gonna be blown away!
Id try not to tow too much until after the break in period and a good oil change though!

You should have seen me pulling a twin axle car trailer with my 98 V6 Taurus. Had 3000lb of concrete and sand bags on it one time, the other time it was a Ford tractor with a bush hog. All the while in the rolling hills of south Alabama. Talk about a car groaning going up the hills and brakes smoking going down.

I'm at about 2300 miles now. I just towed it to fill the gas tank for winterization. Didn't even top 45mph when I pulled the boat, and only for about 5 miles total.

I will say... the mileage is a little disappointing thus far.

You're not alone among ecob owners, common complaint actually but when you force more air into the engine you have to throw extra fuel in to mix for combustion.

I get 22mpg with my 5.0 on the hwy.
