Because it's a custom tuner that has tunes customized to your specific truck. The Edge is a "canned" tuner that's made for any 5.4L F150 on the road, it accounts for none of your modifications. Plus you may want to bone up on the tranny issues caused by the Edge before you go plugging that thing into your truck.
