howdy all,i have a stupid? question. how much of a mileage increase would i see if i swapped to a 75w-90 gear oil versus the stock 75w-140 that ford puts in? i regularily drive at -30 to -40 celcius. thanx.

I really do not think you would notice a lot in mileage.I would maybe just put fresh stuff in that it calls for.....that is a newer truck....just my 2 cents worth.

Don't think that you would see any measurable mileage change.

However, you may wish to check with Ford as to whether there is a different viscosity range recommended for your region.
