Howdy!!
New member here...just got my second F150 in three months!
The story:
Had a nice, loaded, Infiniti EX35, and a beater Chevy Colorado. Lease on the INF was almost up, I wanted to consolidate into one vehicle, and wanted a truck. F150 was hands-down better than any other full-size truck, and loved the luxury of the Lariat!
So traded the INF and Chevy back in Oct, and got a '12 Lariat 4x4 EcoBoost, Ingot Silver/Black & chrome pkg. Passed on the Navi and Lariat Plus pkg (rear view camera, etc) because I figured I always use my iPhone for nav, and hardly ever used the INF navi. And I figured I could live without the rear view camera...
...WRONG!!!!!!
I loved the truck, but did not like the non-navi/large touchscreen interface, and REALLY missed the rear-view camera and backup sensors...not just because I was totally used to them, but also because the size of the truck, and maneuvering it around.
So just this week, I figured I'd look hard for a 2012 that had what I wanted, and try to drive a super deal, to help mitigate flipping a new vehicle so soon. Well, I found the truck I wanted, and pushed them to a smoking deal - all via e-mail and text - in fact, they initially said, "No, too far apart"...then an hour later came back and said, "We have someone that wants your truck!" Anyway, they met the terms and numbers I gave them, and I picked it up last night!!
2012 Lariat 4x2 (gave up the 4x4 to save $$), Black/Black, EcoBoost (only engine to get, IMO), Sony Navi, Chrom, Lariat Plus, Moonroof, tailgate step, Line X bedliner, and a few other goodies. I *LOVE* it...it's EVERYTHING I wanted!! Pics to follow when I can post pics...
