Hello. I'm new to the forum.

I posted in 2004-2008 subject area looking for guidance on purchase. I'm considering purchase on 2004 F150 Lariat, despite bad publicity.

Internet shows negative, and local mechanic advised against it without seeing it (I trust him to a point). I consider the internet only shows bad reviews, not good reviews, for past 14 years on 2004. Certainly not all are bad... so I'm here.

I owned a 1999 F150 personally. And I've had several company Expeditions. All were great, but none had over 60,000 miles. (Sold personal truck when got company vehicles.)

Hope I can contribute and benefit from forum.

No performance mods planned... saving money in case unexpected repairs needed. However, I'm doing some cosmetic touch up to restore close to new.

 

Welcome, the truck looks like its in good shape. F150's are durable trucks.
