Cool, the parts guys are usually pretty good in my experience.
Ya, I worked in Ontario for a number of years, I could always spend USD's there, but couldn't spend CAD here! At one point when I was working there, the exchange rate was par, we all liked that.
You could drive like that for as long as you like without hurting a thing. In fact, Fords lame fix for the 13th gen 4X4, is to eliminate the vacuum system altogether.

Ok, phew. Yeah, while doing research found a “OE Fix” by Doeman brand - they just made the actuators without the vacuum disengagement option. I bought it too, just in case. Funne - two of those costed me almost the same as just one “proper” IWE from the same brand.
will ry dealing with the valve first and go from there.
just very dependant on my buddy’s amateur shop amd his free time, so was hoping to get as much done this weekend as possible. But - if the valve replacement fixes it - perfect. I got the vacuum pump, too. Arrived last night. Will try to diagnose as much as I can, with the scissor jack, in my back alley. Not ideal, but it is what it is.
Thank you again!
oh, and so should I be ordering that whole assembly or just one valve, if I can?

Just the valve would be fine, it's just plug it in, unless you think the new lines that come from Ford might be needed.
I bought a spare valve and hoses and keep it in my console, thing is, if I were to be out and got the grind of death, I'd likely just pull the power, and replace the valve whenever I felt like it.

Makes sense. Thank you!
and - if you were to realize that it’s not the valve and not the solenoid (easy replacement) and you actually need to replace the actuator/IWE - would you swap them both for the non-vacuum activated ones (and forget about the potential repeating problem) or would you replace it with the standard one?
it is tempting to just install these:

You can accomplish the same as those eliminators, by just removing the vacuum lines, and not replace the IWEs. Save yourself the expense of them when you can do the same thing for free.
Knowing myself, I'd probably accept the problem as a challenge, and have everything the same as it was from the factory, buts that's just me, I can be pretty stubborn!

Yes, you did.

@Mark - yes you did, thank you! I guess I just get a second opinion whenever I can, same with the doctors.
I really appreciate your help and pointing in the right direction. You totally changed the direction of my thinking about the issue and gave me hope I can do it myself well, with your guys guidance . So, again - thank you!
Now, when I remove hoses attached to the solenoid (they’re coupled) - I hear the air sucking in one of them. When I plug them back and remove hoses attached to IWE - there is no air, no matter if it’s in x2H or x4H. Does it mean anything useful for me or not really?

Also, when underneath the truck, by the troublesome wheel, and switching x2H to x4H - the clicking sound is somewhere either in the middle of the axle, or maybe at the different wheel. But it’s quiet by the wheel/actuator in question
