Default Hi everybody!

This is my first post here, I have a 2016 f-150 xlt, 3.5l N/A, and love it. When I look at it in the driveway, it breaks my heart knowing how rough it drives, especially that flashing engine light. This forum is a glimmer of hope for my family and I, and for that, I am very grateful to be a member here!

Welcome to the forum. Have you scanned for DTCs? What mileage? Maintenance history?

Default Thank you (response)

@artsr2002 Thank you, and yes the ones that are currently coming up are P0300, P0302, and P0304. The mileage is right around 146,000, and I am on top of all oil changes (I do it myself, dont feel the need to pay for someone else to do it) cleaned my air filter, new spark plugs, ignition coil boots, replaced cylinder 3 coil pack a while back due to a misfire. Replaced both valve covers and gaskets because it was leaking oil, especially into the spark tubes, replaced my PCV valve. I think that is all the things I’ve done since purchasing it about a year and a half ago. One thing of note that’s making this a bit more difficult for me is the fact that I switched coil locations to see if the misfire code followed/changed, but the codes stayed the same.

Was about to mention moving the coils to see if the issue moved with them. Stand by for much smarterer folks.

Default Question

@artsr2002 would you happen to have a recommendation as far as the best avenue to take on this forum to ask others for their advice?

You are in the Introductions section of the forum.
If I were you I would post this issue, with all appropriate detail in the

2015 - 2020 Ford F150

Forum (scroll down and you will see it under forums)

A flashing CEL is a classic sign of a misfire condition and your codes suggest the problem is on the #2 and 4 cylinder. not sure what brand plugs were installed and why the OEM coils were replaced but I would do as suggested above and swap cylinder 1 &2 plugs and 3&4 and see what the codes tell you. Check all connections and ensure good contact with the coil boot and spring.
