Default Hey guys...

Hey guys, I'd like to introduce my self, my name is André, I'm from Mtl-Qc.

I'm about to purchase a low mileage 2008 F150 Foose edition ( only 35 000KM and in pristine condition never winter driven) but also another F150 for my construction business, hopefully this one will be an 2010 or 2011 FX4.

To be honest, I never though I would sell my BMW X5 in order to buy a Ford pick-up but here I am. We have recently bought a bigger boat and the X5 with the 4.4l is kind of rushing on the hills when going up in the north. This has brought me to consider replacing my 2004 BMW X5, at first I though of getting a more recent X5 with the 4.8 or the 5.0, but gee those are free kingly expensive.

Earlier this week, while I was doing extensive search to find a nice clean low mileage F150 for my construction business ( I'm a general contractor ) I found the 2008 F150 Foose Edition and I really felt in love with that truck... It's been a long time since I've had that feeling about a car or a truck.

Long story short I found a very clean F150 Foose edition and decided to get it, so tomorrow I'm going to drive to that location in order to conclude a transaction. I want to trade in my X5 but not at any price, I'm willing to give up a reasonable amount on the trade, otherwise I'll leave a deposit on the F150 and sell the X5 by myself. Hopefully I'll be able to post some pics later this week if this work out.

Any thought about the F150 Foose edition ?

Thanks and have a great day every one.

AA

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you're planning on purchasing some sweet rides! I don't have any first-hand expericance with the Foose Edition F-150, but I've seen a couple of them on here, and they are great looking. BTW, posting pictures is the best way to convice people on this site, trust me.

The reason I didn't post the link is theres only 3 for sale in the whole Qc, I wanna make sure I'll set my hand on it tomorrow. I already reached the sale manager and sent him an e-mail, making it clear that I want this truck to be mine. Lol

I have a good camera so pics will be post as soon as I have the ride.

Cheers

AA

The one I preferred is black & only have 35,000 km's on it. It look like it was never winter driven, but that's about to change. lol

I also found another black one with 17,000 km's but it was is New Brunswick and I don't feel like driving a round trip of 3000Km to go get it. The one I'm looking for is at like an hour driving from home.

I finally spoke with the manager today, I'm driving to the location tomorrow morning to test drive the truck and hopefully come back with it. When I first made the thread, I lost my mind for a moment, forgetting monday was my son's birthday, fortunately I didn't forgot his birthday, we actually had a lot of fun today visiting the Star War exhibition and playing the tourist in our own city. I'm going to make the 135 KM ride to get there first thing in the morning tomorrow and see what happened. I'll keep you posted and will take a bunch of pictures.

BTW, I've already start checking for mods, I have my eyes on the Roush 8 lbs pulley, some cold air and a tune. I've read a bunch of stuff on the CTS http://www.edgeproducts.com/product_..._image-122.jpg

Thanks for the welcome.

After a long day, I got back home with the truck. I'm very happy with the purchase, they also gave me a decent price for my 2004 X5 4.4i, the transaction went smooth beside one thing but I won't get into that since it has been taken care accordingly. This truck is amazing, it is so clean, just like a brand new truck. The previous owner took really good care of it and I have only good word to say. The gas mileage is better than I though, I drove back home at around 120km/hr. The handling is quite acceptable considering it's pick-up, all in all I'm very please with the purchase.

Enjoy the pictures as it's time for me to go crash.
