Default Hello from Yankton SD

I’ve got a 2007 King Ranch I am restoring and my son has a 2010 Platinum he is working on as well. I have replaced the rockers and cab corners along with just putting on a 2009 box. Box switch pretty straightforward except for fitting the new bulbs. Interior was not ripped up at all but needed total restoration so I’ve dyed the seats and think they look pretty good.
Glad to have found the site and look forward to communicating with you all
Jim

Welcome to the forum. What's the issue with the bulbs? Fitment? Wiring? Stock or aftermarket? Halooooogen or LED? If you give us more info, we can help better.

all good on that part. The 07 tail light has two bulbs in be for backup and one brake/turn and the 09 has three bulbs each a different socket. It joined them together and updated the sockets to fit the new box so not an issue now.
appreciate the note thiough!

Excellent.

Now you now the rules. Pics or it didn't happen.

I just did some tail light modding myself,...on my other ride. I updated the tail lights of my 2018 Outlander Sport to the updated lights from a 2020+.

glad you said that. I was called out on that already and did shoot a couple pics of it. I just noticed they did not upload. I’ll redo them today.
thanks

Good luck with your pickups. My daughter's 2008 did not rust through as quick as my 2010 did, After 5 years with the 2010 and being tired of $1500/year in new rust breakouts, not fixing myself like you are, I opted to move into a later truck with the aluminum body panels. 3 sets of exhaust manifolds went on to my 2010 due to warping and breaking of the exhaust studs flush with the block. Sounds like you are the perfect family for upkeep on vehicles.

putting on new rockers is a dirty job but it is a good feeling when they are done. Yeah my 07 was not as rusted out as my son’s 10. Pretty sure he will need inner rockers as well. His is a Platinum series truck and the interior is perfect on it. Good news tho we now get to repair his sunroof as that got damaged and stuck this weekend. Lol
