hello everyone ,

My name is Dave and although I have owned several Ford trucks I finally found my keeper. It's a 2011 F-150 Lariat Limited #1630 .

I'm curious about the history of the " Limited " series. When did it start and how long have they been making them ? Mine is white, but I've seen a blue and burgundy color as well.

Also looking to add some performance to it. It's a bit sluggish off the line but sure opens up after 3000rpm.

Any answers would be helpful

Dave, great to have you as a member here on the F150 forum, as for the question about the Limited series I am sure someone much more knowledgeable about trim packages will chime in shortly.
In regards to the sluggishness, I am guessing we are talking about the 5.0?
