Hello from Texas
Just saying hello. I have owned a lot of Fords. I had a 2012 F-350, traded it for a 2023 F-250, and then, just this week, down-sized to a 2025 F-150. I did not need the towing of the 250 as I sold my Grady and just had a bay boat so opted for better gas mileage than the Tremor…and here I am.
pretty impressed with all the amenities of this 150.
just looking to see what all folks did to theirs.
Debating a truck cap, but not sure if I would benefit from spending the 3500 to add one heh. We will see. For now, will enjoy just having this one.
anyway, just saying hello. Will browse the forums.

Thanks! My daughter is starting college and I sold the larger boat so figured to save some money, since I did not need the towing power of the 250.
i wanted a Lariat, but I got almost everything on my checklist with the XLT, at a lot lower cost, so figured, why spend the extra.
I am not a fan of the “Bluecruise”, it always feels like the wheel is pulling on my like an alignment issue. Other than that, the leather seats and cooled seats are all I see that would be the major difference “I” would see. We rarely use the back seats unless the kids are back there and heated rear seats are not a big deal in Texas heh.
so, I feel like the XLT is the best fit.
That being said, a longer bed would have been nice…but this is doable. Still feels “different” as I pull up to an ATM and do not have to hang halfway out to use it lol.
I am debating a truck cap by ARE. They want, I think, like $3,300 for one. I like having my Grizzly cooler back there locked up and fishing/camping gear, so we will see. May use the warranty refund from the previous truck and get that.
anyways, not that I need anything for this truck…the f-250 had upfitter switches, but debating what cool gadgets to add already heh
