I have been a Ford F150 fan for the last 15 years. I have owned various models and absolutely love the trucks. I currently own a 2013 XLT (5.0) and am in the process of custom ordering a 2016 3.5 EcoBoost. Any suggestions on what to include/not include would be greatly appreciated.

 

Hotfoot, I would include Bluetooth, ford Sync, navigation, all the hands free luxuries that make driving safe and easy. Also Ford offers the double moon roof on the upper end F-150 if you're going that route. Heated/ cooled seats, I can go on all day of course I almost bought a new one last week. The dealer I work for has a couple of 2015 leftovers and the big Memorial Day sales. But I couldn't bite the bullet.

 

Just placed my order yesterday! Fireman785, I did get the navigation. I opted out of the moon roof and heated/cooled seats though. Basically got everything else though.

 

Cool, nothing better than ordering exactly what you want!! Hope you enjoy it. I am still new to this so I have not posted pictures yet but one day we can exchange baby photos.

Berty, I ordered from Bob Bell Ford in Glen Burnie, MD. This will be my 3rd truck that I purchased through them. Beau Rudiger is the sales rep that I used. He is very good and does not try to force anything.

 

Hotfoot, I worked for Anne Arundel Co. Fire Dept for 15 years I was in the Arnold area.

 

Seems the Bobs are the only way to buy in Maryland! Bob Bell and Bob Davidson I always hear good things about (I've had good experiences at Bob Davidson myself)
