Default Hello from Iowa

This will be my introduction, been lurking this site for awhile trying to gain some knowledge on my f150 I just purchased a week ago. Its an 06 f150 supercrew xlt. Miles on it are a bit high but its in very good condition and was at a fair price. I was needing something bigger than my 98 ranger as I have a little one on the way and needed room for a car seat. I've already ordered some parts for the truck which includes, smoked window vents shades all around, and smoked hood shade. I also bought an MBRP SI/SO exhaust and a rough coutnry 2.5" leveling kit. Couple photos of my trucks. I still decided to keep the ranger for a daily driver, plust I love the thing and couldnt see it go.

Well its 2018 and I still have the F150. I bought the truck in the summer of 2014 with 168k on it. Truck now has 179k on it and has been a very reliable truck. This weekend I plan on doing the whole timing set on the truck as it has been giving me the diesel tick sound ever since I bought it. Wish me luck!

Timing job is now done! What a night and day difference. The first video truly doesnt do justice for the bad noises these things made. Truck hasnt sounded this good my entire ownership.

Finally upgraded pickups.

2012 XLT Crew Cab 4x4 with the 5.0, Already had a leveling kit, premium wheels, aftermarket grill and front and rear lights.... I still kept the 06 pickup though, will use it to help keep the miles of the new one.
