Hello from Indiana
Hello from Indiana! Well, on 6.22 I traded in my 2018 Tacoma V6 TRD Off Road 6MT w/42k miles for a 2021 F-150 XLT 5.0 w/5k miles. I went back and forth about this decision for several months. For some reason, I had this notion that it would be pretty simple to find a 5.0 XLT w/a 302A high package, moonroof, tow package, 360 degree camera, etc. Seriously, I see these trucks all over the place, it's the best selling truck on the road right? I had no idea it was going to take me a few months and so much drama. Ah well, happy to finally be here! I had lurked for a long, long time. I worked with a guy, years ago, that always has had Ford trucks and I used to borrow them from him from time to time. After he retired, I started renting trucks then I bought my Tacoma and I have to be 100% honest here, the Tacoma is a wonderful truck but it just didn't do it for me. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about that truck, it just wasn't for me.
So the spending begins. It does NOT fit in my garage yet so I have to tear out some upper and lower cabinets and workbench, clean out my garage buy some shorter depth, heavy duty racks and get organized. I'm also thinking about some fixed upper shelves and a drop down work bench surface. It's going in on Wednesday for a Line-X premium bed liner and I'm shopping around for a tonneau cover. My last truck had a soft, tri-fold but I'm not sure yet what to put on this one. I may hold off a bit. I've got fender liners and a bunch of other crap in my amazon cart. . . someone's gotta keep this economy turned around, I'm doing my level best here from Indiana!
Oh, before I get blasted for it, I didn't park it there - the salesman parked it like that, I parked my Tacoma in the background back there - I just wanted to get a shot with both of the trucks in it.

Thank you for all the kind words! So, since I started this thread I've done the following :
1.) Line-x the bed, got the premium done, looks awesome and I love it.
2.) Shorty antenna, the one everyone recommends on Amazon and I needed that (not pictured.)
3.) Tore out some built-in cabinets the previous owner installed, tore out both upper, lowers, removed the countertop and cut the counter top in half and hauled all of that away so I can park my truck in the garage.
4.) I also bought an industrial strength rack, totes and put all my junk in the totes.
5.) Lastly - it fits!!! I knew it would fit but I'm happy to have it parked in our garage now. . . now the rest of the garage looks a giant mess but I'll get it all sorted eventually!
Doors torn off old shelves and thrown on the pile, what a mess!
Midway through teardown of old shelves.
After cleanup/re-org but I'm still working on this.
It fits!!!
