Hello from Alabama
Hello to all from lower Alabama, I just inherited a new to me F150 from someone who did not take very good care of it and was basically giving it away. I am not a mechanic and am about as mecanically inclined as a sledge hammer but I am determined to bring this truck back from the brink of death.

Its a 98 black supercab lariat with the 4.6, The driver's seat, steering wheel, and headliner are ripped pretty badly the spare tire is MIA. The dome light dash lights and cargo light don't work. The wheels don't match, 2 tires are bald. The radiator has a small leak, the truck makes a roaring and rattling noise when the wheels turn and shakes when you go over 45 mph. Acts like it wants to die going up hill and the paint is scratched pretty badly. But I am planning to have it looked at so I know exactly whats wrong with it. I'll fix that and change all the fluids and tires. I plan on getting seat covers, a steering wheel cover, a new spare, a chrome grill, a chrome brushguard, chrome mirrors, chrome wheels, and chrome door handles. May even get the paint touched up. Not bad for a $500 truck. I figure I may put another $2000 into it plus whatever mechanical is wrong with it.
I can't post pics right now my wife decided to take pictures of the kid at the beach and dropped the camera in the water, if she had got the waterproof camera like I told her to we wouldn't have this problem, but thats another story .
