Default Hello

Hi from Washington state. Just bought my third F150. This is a 2006 f150 supercrew 4x4 lariat. Love ford trucks and this forum seems like the place to be. Having a few issues with my truck but so far the dealer is adressing them at no charge. I just picked up the truck last night after they detailed it and fixed minor things. 5 miles later the check engine light came on so back it goes. I hope it gets fixed right as I really like this truck, very clean and sharp looking pickup.

Also I have been searching this forum like crazy for one of the problems I'm having. Haven't found anything exactly like my problem. When I accelerate hard and at speeds above 50mph I feel a very slight hessitation. It very slight and not all that noticable. Still bothers a new truck owner.

The dealer is looking into the problem I mentioned and has to fix the back up sensors. Just spoke with the dealer today and he was glad the check engine light came on as he said now maybe they can pull a code for the hesitation

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully the dealer can figure it out if it is throwing codes. You might ask them for a list of the codes in case they can't pinpoint the problem. Then post the codes on here. There are a couple Ford techs here that seem exceptional at figuring out codes.

Welcome to the boards bud. As stated prior, post up what codes are pulled and that will give us a direction in which to offer advice.
