What I do when I get in the truck is put my seatbelt on and take it off after like 2 seconds and it will go off for the rest of that trip. It may be a hassle but I don't have to wear it or hear the alarm.

Look in the manual. There should be a good "how to" to turn it off.

I don't think there is a way to shut it off completley because of safety issues. I beleive what Triton v8 stated is the only way to do it. Maybe some of the Gurus will jump in and tell me i'm wrong.

It is possible to turn them off. Trust me, I know because mine are off.

It tells how in the manual. I did it on mine & a rental ford focus while in destin florida. It's a combination where u turn the key to the run position and wait for the seatbelt light to go off and then hook & unhook the belt about nine times then the light will blink and you hook & unhook one more time. Just a brief explanation, look in your manual to make sure of how many times. You have to do it individually for each front seat and there is a limited amount of time you have to complete the sequence, like 50 seconds or about.
