Default GRUNT needs help


hi i have a great 1990 5l v8 f150 that i rescued from spain got it back to england had the body rebuilt and a great paint job will tell more later but old grunt is laid up now the freeze plugs went and im having really bad time trying to get a mechanic to even look at the job

so have a great truck with many upgrades to exhaust 4branch stainless steel suspension body etc but because nearly no one know wants to replace the freezze plugs stuk in barn any ideas help even anything plzzzz

i have the plugs needed [rock auto] just need how to do ---only comments over was to take engine out and take away ?

Freeze plugs shouldnt be hard ive done them in my mustang before theirs brass expandable ones and the regular ones

Welcome to the site. Do you know which one(s) have been leaking? That will tell you how much work it will be to repair. I would use the brass expandable ones for replacement while engine is installed, easer to work with, OEM type have to be driven in with a punch and hammer and should be put in with engine removed.

please more info about the brass expandable ones i can see the plug thats gone but how would i fit them with the old holed one still there ? many thanks
