Default Greetings and salutations!

Hello. My name is Rob. I reside in the mitten state (not that it is much to boast about, but it is home). I am the proud owner of a (recently troublesome) 2003 f150 supercrew. I have read many posts and discussions here that have helped me with my truck and others. I am hoping the decision to be a member will benefit more than just being a reader of threads and I hope to weave my own discussions here.

One of my biggest issues is when using a forum, I feel that I have to "prove" myself to others on how much diy and mechanic competence i have. Being a new guy, I will get alot of the grief that I dont know squat. I can turn a wrench and replace a part simple and easy enough. Diagnostic items are fairly simple when easy. But I am not ASE certified or trained.
