Greetings all!
Hi folks, Just want to intro myself,
I hail from the frozen tundra of northern minnesnowta and have been owning Ford trucks for 19 years.
Ive had, a 73 f100,
78 f150 sc,
79 e150,
87 f150,
91 f250scdisel,
94 f150sc,
still have a 96 bronco (for sale)
and just this week picked up my new baby,
a 2003 f150sc xl
Which I am learning is an entirely different creature from anything else I've ever had.

Yes and no actually, when I got it, soomeone had switched out the steering column and put in one from a manual trans truck so no column shifter. all I had was the linkage thru the floor by the gas pedal. had to count the clicks to find the right gear. I kinda got a kick out of it actually. The lower cab corners were rotting out (classic Ford) and if you hit a bump just right you went for a bit of a wild ride as the front end ocillated until you slowed down enough.
I found another cab for it and did the swap in the driveway in a weekend. thats a whole story in itself.
Strong running truck, but ugly as sin being blue with an orange cab when I was done.
