Default Getting a '95 soon

After my little trip and my $400 Grand Prix crapped out, I have been on the search for a decent pick up and found a '95 F-150 2wd, 4.9L, 5 speed, that has around 167,000KM (103,000Miles) and they're asking $1800. I'm going to go take a look on Wednesday, as that's the only time the sellers and my schedule come together. Anything that I should keep an eye out for?
Here's a pic:

First vehicle I had was an Explorer, which I loved, but hated the gas mileage, so I got the GP. Both were $400 and the Explorer is still running.

How does this dual tank thing work? Can I fill either one up? Or does it have an order?

Dual tanks work with a switch on the dash. Flip it to the F for front tank and you'll run on that. Flip to R for rear and it'll run that. You can't switch them while the truck is running, just something to be aware of. Personally, my back tank has a bum fuel pump and I'm not gonna fix it anytime soon, so I'm all front tank, all the time.

Things to look for:
-There's a valve between the 2 tanks in the fuel lines, and if it goes I want to say gas will run from your back tank into the front, but not from the front to back, I think.
-Gas gauges are a commonly broken part on these, the sending unit for the gauge is on the fuel pump, inside the tank, kind of a pain... I haven't attempted it, my gauge doesn't work
-the steering is probably going to have some play, that's normal
-the twin I beam suspension is notorious for wearing the outsides of tires. Just make sure the alignment is good and you'll be fine.
-Look for rust, most common places are the rear wheel arches, right behind the wheels, and the cab corners.
-U-joints. They will cause a clunking sound, but I have no experience with them as mine are good

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

There's some rust in the rear wheel wells, but it's very tiny and can be fixed, fairly easily. It was in an accident last year and it was at the front of the box, near the cab, but the frame looks fine and the sellers dad has a body shop and he just punched it out, but it's not smooth or anything. The whole truck must have been repainted, since there weren't and differences between the paint everywhere else and where the dents are. Didn't get to take it for a spin, he couldn't find the keys, might take it for a ride on Wednesday though. I'm not dead set on this one, I am keeping my options open, but I do want a pick up. If nothing else comes up (Mostly Automatics around here) I want something Standard.

He's been trying to sell this for awhile, but hasn't just yet, which is a bit weird. His original price was $2000, then bumped it down to $1800, now he's open to offers. I'm gonna get him to let me take it out for a spin before I make any decisions. So far it's the best vehicle (appearance, age and mileage) that I have seen going around lately. Most are late 80's Chevy 1500's which are going for over $3000, which is ridiculous. (They age like dog crap.)

It's one of the most smoothest car that I have driven before. I've brought out a few new cars for test drives and this beats them all! I got the guy down to $1600 and I am now a Proud owner of this beast of a truck!

Any suggestions for free or cheap mods that I can do, until I get a bit more cash?
