Hello everyone,

I belive that after much research I've decided my next vehicle is going to be a Ford F150. Considering my needs, wants and budget, I'll probably end up with a 2013 supercrew, 4x4 with the V8. It seems to be the way to go. Now I just need to find the right one. Wish me luck.

First....how much I can spend. $20k is all I want to put into this.

Searching available trucks out there in my area....20K will get me anything up to about a 2013 4x4 SuperCrew. I'm trying to stay to around 100k miles.

There are more 2011s out there with these stats but it looks like the 2013s have that slightly more modern technology that I personally like.

But I am by no means completely settled on a 2013. They just seem to have the right combination of features that I'm looking for within my price range (and I'm already stretching that a bit. I'm also in no hurry to buy.

Do you have any suggestions that might help me?

I had a 2013 FX4 and I absolutely loved that truck.
It was a solid, quiet well built vehicle.

I had a bunch of problems with my 3.5 eco so I wound up getting rid of it.

I think you're on the right track looking at a 2013 or even 2014 but i would suggest as you posted the 5.0.
The 2013s had the better HID lighting as well.
You may even find a 6.2 out there.

I'm surprised at the lack of selection. Ithought there'd be mor available. No rush though.tho've read there's a used vehicle bubble that might pop when things get back to normalish.

Spent a couple of months looking at trucks and bought in April this year. It did seem to me that there was more selection at the beginning of my search. Good luck!

with new inventories lacking this year, people have been scooping up used cars driving up their value.
good luck.
