Default Finally thinking ford

This may be a little long for being an intro. I have been on many other forums and tried being helpful on those forums. So i have grown up my whole life never really considering ford, my family is basically all GM not because they are better or not, just what my parents always liked and got better deals on. So i have had a couple different chevys, a toyota, and a nissan titan.

So i finally been looking at buying a truck again and went to a dealership today to test drive some vehicles. I have been looking at 13/14 crew fx4's, I test drove a 14 with 15k miles and WOW!!! that is probably one of the most comfortable, easy to drive trucks i have driven in a really long time.

I'm 6'7" and i was surprised by all the back seat room even with the front seat all the way back i still had plenty behind me, then the driver seat was plenty of space that i actually had to scoot the seat forward which i have never done in any truck or car. I will make sure my next truck is a ford f150 fx4. before everyone jumps on this and says which motor and blah blah. I did try both ecoboost in a limited package and then the 5.0 in the fx4 package. I will say that i prefer the 5.0 and will most likely end up with 5.0, but that ecoboost was very nice and the power is very impressive!!

Good choice. May you love your new Ford, regardless what package you choose.

I've had many Ford trucks over the years, each one a tough reliable vehicle.

Be careful with the 13, some like mine have POOR performing AC's and it is programming that Ford wont change.

So if you live in a climate like I do, Texas where ac is important, I am advising you to check the vent temps! If it only pulls down to 44 and cycles back up, walk away, no run away!

Good luck!

Yeah really just took a test drive, and it was amazing how much i have missed out on. My brother in law drives an 06 f150 but the seats and other things really weren't there. But those 13-14 ones were amazing
