Default F 150 Forever

Hello
I finally found this place . I always had a F series Ford but , never had the funds to buy anything but a "rust bucket" . In 1994 I took the plunge and bought a F150 Sport new. I still have it but it's starting to show some body cancer and body mount problems . So , it's time to completely do a "ground up" resto on it . I just can't get rid of it . I've been in love with it from the minute I first drove it . The 4.9 big six still runs like a fine swiss watch .
I would like to do something special with it . Any suggestions ?

Hi everyone. I stumbled onto this site and plan on sticking around for a while. My Dad had gotten me turned onto Ford from the very beginning with his 69 ford 1/2ton 2wd that he bought new. He drove the truck into the ground and it never failed him mechanically but it was completely rusted out. He then had a 77 ford 1/2ton 2wd that was very dependable also. My brother wrecked it and then Dad jumped off a cliff and bought a 1980 chevy 1/2ton 4wd. It was P.O.S. He traded it on a 91 3/4ton 4wd and he still has it and it is a P.O.S also. I bought my 95 ford 1/2ton 4wd and had to replace torsion bushings and that was it. I traded it on a new 02 FX4 and it was a great truck also but I had to have the new body style once I saw it and traded my 02 on a 04 lariat 4x4 supercab. My dad sold his farm and bought a new truck to help save on taxes. He saved 1k on buying a chevy z71 instead of a ford. While he was waiting for his truck to arrive, I let him drive my 04 lariat and he was then upset with the purchase he had made. With the veryfew minor problems I have had with my trucks, It would be very hard to sell me any other brand of Truck.
