43 yo Carpet Fabricator/Installer, originally from NYC, now here in the Carolinas for the last 8 years.
I just purchased a 2011 F-150 FX2 SuperCab with the Sport Package as my new work/family ride. I will hitch my 14' box trailer to it to haul my stuff.

Obvious interests, increasing gas Mileage. I have been on this site for about an hour and have seen many hints of a programmer but no hard info on where to get one or how it will help.

Familiar with the CAI and looking into the K&N because I have heard good things from friends who used them.

Does the programmer void any of the warranties? Any help in this area will be greatly appreciated!

welcome!! no ideas on the warranty but how many miles on it and how many mpg's you getting at the moment ??

 

It has 20k on it. Have not done any real HWY driving yet but avg 15.6 city.

 

Hmm Idk if you have passed the "break-in" point for mpgs but my 06 gets that in city as well and on highway I get like 17.5-18 but you should beat my highway since you have 6 gears
