Default Brand New

I Open my email and this site was asking what I thought about the new Saleen F150 missing the mark? that lead me here!? So I signed up! Not for nothing but I'm a FORD man, Bleed blue oval, despise the letters LS.EXSPEACAILY LS SWAP !!!! keep that trash out from between the frame rails of a blue oval!! Ford cost more to build so they stick to their cheap Bowtie, Even Though ford engines in various forms sit be tween the rails of numerous super cars the first engine koenigsegg,,GT by Citroën.Bailey Blade ,jaguar, radical RXC, To name a few.................This is FORD country! On a quite knight you can hear a Chevrolet rust!

You should post up some pictures of the 89!

I've never had a major issue with a Ford. Never been stranded by one either. My dad's '06 with the 5.4 bent a rod, got us to the dealership, had a temporary fix done, and made the trip from Harrison, AR back to Houston, TX. My '07 went blew the transmission on the highway, lost 3rd and 4th gear, STILL made it to work, then drove it to the transmission shop. Aside from the transmission I never had a major issue, and I drove it HARD for 6 years before I traded it. Couldn't afford to keep fixing it, and couldn't keep leaving work to get it done. It had 183,000 miles, had an oil leak, leaking exhaust, bad wheel bearing, bald 35's, and a squealing idler pulley (shop screwed up reinstalling the power steering pump, I was in an apartment and couldn't do it myself).

Funny you should say that, lol of course actually it hasn't made me walk either but this 89, the guy that sold it to me got me! Must've seen me coming 10 miles away it's been one after the other first fuel pumps, gauge sender, then ofcourse it's EEClV SYSTEM so no data stream, BUT I've had 5 F250s and 1 had 350k miles on the original TRANS 2 were 351w 2 were 7.3l d and this 1 has 460cid it has more torque than the turbo diesels. I'm an ASE cert. Tech I've been working on everything for 24yrs and people that try to sit and tell ya, Any how right now the 89s not much to look at and it started running bad wouldn't idle running rich blowing black smoke every where I tried a map checked FPressure nothing obvious and of course it being EEClV I couldn't log any data I was going to change every thing over to mustang harness and and pcm but it looked like the after market FI would be cheaper, turns out all the little odds and in's that you don't know until you start pushes the price up! Anyhow appreciate the hospitality soon as I get it lookin better I'll get some pics on, oh I just acquired a 2001 F150 ext. cab 2wd SB for my daughter I'm working on dual exhaust, cold air, and thinking of giving it the prerunner look, I just cant leave well enough alone LOL
