Default Bought an 04 Heritage

Howdy. I just bought an 04 heritage 4x4. For the last couple months I surfed this place while I was looking around for an F150. I planned to join up after I bought one and say hi.

Here’s a pic.

Thanks. I got a good deal on a nice truck. It’s my new pleasure truck for camping and towing trailers and stuff. I didn’t expect to get one that had so many nice features but that’s the way it worked out. I didn’t like the dark color though.

The heritage was made in 04 to mark the end of the original body style as the new style was being introduced. It has a heritage badge on the tailgate and I don’t know if they all came with captain chairs and stuff but it’s nice. I had to ask what a heritage was too.

I’ve had jeeps for the last 28 years but I needed something in my old age jeep doesn’t make, like a nice truck. So now I own four 4wd. I use a cherokee and a comanche for commuting and the J20 for wheeling and pleasure truck but it just retired from pleasure truck.

Here’s a pic of my jeeps.

No, I just got too old enjoy them anymore but I’ve been looking at the rhino lately, lol. It looks like it will fit on my toy hauler.

I just sold my 80 CJ5 not shown in the pic of the jeeps. It was beating me to death and needed motor work. It sucks getting old.

I guess you could say I did get a new toy though. Last week a nice 7’ custom made bamboo fly rod was delivered to me. I’m taking the truck on vacation to colo and northern new mex for three weeks this summer fly fishing and I’m pretty stoked about going up there this year in the F150 and fishing boo. I have a bunch of sage and st croix graphite fly rods but this is my first bamboo.

Here’s a pic.
