Default Born a Chevy kid

Well guys, I've been spending a fair ammount of time reading up on this site and finaly devided to join so here Iam! I grew up a Chevy kid so try and imagine my fathers surprise and dissapointment when I showed up the other day driving a new to me 1985 F150. I have a long list of things I want to get done on the old thing so here is thanking in advance for all of the questions Iam going to ask. -Tim

Despite giving it a quick polish and wax over the weekend (old paint still needs some work) this is Oregon territory and it already needs another bath. When the weather clears up I will post some updated pictures. I will admit I love the "Explorer" emblems on the bed. Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

That thing is in really good condition for it's age.

Trucks that old around here are nothing but rust buckets...Wisconsin uses tons of salt...

EDIT: My dad was a big GM buyer too. Nothing but Nova's and Chevelle's in his early days and then switched to commuter cars as he got older... unfortunately he didn't make it to the day that I bought a Ford truck. I'm sure he would've given me some **** for it though. lol
