Angry Blower motor relay HELP

Hello All

My blower motor will not work. All fuses are good System checks out by the book except no power where there should be. The best I can tell by the schmatic the system gets it's power from the BLOWER MOTOR RELAY>

Am I correct, or am I overlooking something.

Please Help

Stan

1997 F150 4.6 2WD. I talked to three Ford dealers in the Metroplex, they all say in the fuse panel. I asked which fuse panel, they did not know, the book doesnt tell them.

Please dont get it confused with the other half dozen relays on the fuse panels.

My book says it is in the center dash area. I cannot find it. The rest of the system checks out OK. No power anywhere after the 40amp fuse under the hood.

Hope this helps.

Thanks again

Stan

Blower relay is behind the center of the instrument panel it gets power from fuse 23 in the power distribution box on the left side of the engine compartment according to the diagram Im looking at. Hope this helps.

hello every one, glad to be an part of the forum. I have an question and would like some help, i've been working on my dad's '77' f-150, the blower motor has seemed to have stopped working .i've changed the relay (that a clicking noise was coming from) and the new one seems to have the same problem. what i was thinking ..could it be an grounding problem, since i've checked the blower motor by by-passing the resistor and relay and hooked it to an battery (which it started right up) ? or is it the resistor? when i checked the resistor and relay to see if they were getting power, they were getting power with the ignition on and the control panel set to heat but it didn't come on;one other thing is when i checked the relay i got poer from both terminals when the ignition was off and panel set to off (one side dimmer than the other) but when it was set to on i got power on only one .any advice is greatly apprec.thanks

did you ever replace the relay? If so, how did you get to it? I don't really want to take apart the entire dash if I do not have to.
