Default Been Gone a Long Time

Morning everyone,

Not a new member but I haven't been around in about 6-7 years since I lost my last F-150. I didn't post much but was always lurking and learning.

I bought another F-150 last week and I couldn't be more excited to keep her in the great condition she's in which will be a struggle in Michigan. Looking forward to making some local connections here.

I purchased a 2007 King Ranch Crew Cab 4x4 with only 92,000 miles and completely free of rust! I was looking for the best daily driver truck I could afford and this was definitely it.

I purchased this from a retired gentleman that bought it brand new. It was his daily driver but he retired 3 years after purchasing it so that saved a lot of miles. I have the window sticker and every receipt from every oil change, tire change and maintenance event that has been done to it. I felt like I was on one of those classic car shows looking at all the paperwork for it the night I bought it. He was very meticulous about all the paperwork and taking care of the truck and I'm going to try to do the same thing.

Here are some pictures.

Beautiful find! I would immediately coat the inside of your rocker panels with Fluid Film or similar to keep them as free of rust as possible! Enjoy your new rig!

Definitely going to do something like that! Is that something you can spray on the frame as well?

Absolutely - I spray my frame, axle, and pretty much everything else under the truck a couple times a year (spring / fall).

Heck of a find! Like others said, get those cab corners coated inside ASAP! Its rare to see one without see through cab corners that age in Michigan.
