Another new guy
Hey all,
Signed up a couple of days ago, just getting around to the introduction.
I have an '87 2X longbed with around 230,000 miles on her. I've had her since around 75,000. Been through a lot and done a bunch of work to her over the years: water pump (twice), gas tank, fuel pumps, alternater, batteries, loads of oil changes, tires, and brakes. Seems like I've replaced enough parts that it should be a new truck by now.
I plan on keeping her for a few more years and want to do some upgrades soon. It's my work truck now but eventually will get replaced with a van for that. After then I'd like to take the bed off and make it into a flatbed. The motor and trany are original so it's almost time for those to go. Other than that I'll just be looking around here for things to make her better.
