i dont own a ford yet but im currently looking for a newish used f150. test drove a couple today and there was this howling comming from the differential. another one had 254k miles but no howling. can someone help me out.

It all depends on how well the previous owner took care of the truck. They are tough and can last a long time with proper care. Good luck!

its out of reach, i dont want to buy anything i half to get fixed for a while. i found another one im trying to seal the deal on will post pics if i get it.

well here it is just picked it up today 98 f150 lariat 4x4 with 146k miles. Not sure if im going to keep the camper or not.
