I've driven a GM for the last 12 or so years. GM truck did GM transmission things... five times... So I bought a Ford.

2008 XL with the 4.2L and 5-Speed manual.126,000 miles.

Immediately added an Apple Car Play radio, 2" drop shackles, and OEM wheels and tires off marketplace (among some other small odds and ends).

The day I picked it up

How it sits 3 days later. More or less how it will stay. Mostly just plan to drive and maintain it.

does this ever actually happen?

Think I'm going to lower it. Not sure if I just want to add 2" drop spindles up front and call it a day or go for a full 3/5 kit. Might start with the spindles and inevitably decide I need more... as always.
