2nd Ford
Guess I'll put my 1st post here.
I've been reading this forum for over a month, and just picked up a 2001 F150 XLT, extended cab, 4x4, with a manual transmission. It is the 2nd truck I've owned, I bought it to replace my 95' Ranger Splash ext. cab 4x4 which I just hit a deer with. The Ranger was (and still is) a great truck and it will be drivable again soon, my girlfriend's father is wanting to buy it. About 200,000 miles on that truck and it still runs great. This new Ford is like the Ranger's big brother since both are 4x4 ext. cabs with handshakers.
I like almost everything about this new truck except it has an open differential!!!
Even my Ranger had traction lok. I plan on fixing this issue real soon.
No good pictures of the truck yet, I just took off the step bars which I'm putting up for sale, so this is the only picture I have right now.
