2013 EcoBoost
Hi and thanks for letting join.
I have a 2013 3.5 EcoBoost extended cab 4x4. First let me say I love the truck however, the EcoBoost has been giving me lots of problems. I have around 135000 km (84000m). I bought the truck used from a Ford dealer with 101000km, so just off warranty. 1st issue was losing power brake ability when it was raining. Took it back to dealer 3 times before they figured out it was a vacuum line issue. Next is timing chain, gears and phasers. Being in Canada I had to wait 5 weeks to get in parts (covid 19). After getting it back with no more issues, I put maybe 100km on it and threw a rod. Now I'm looking for a motor. Since I've owned this truck I've kept up with regular oil changes (always synthetic oil), changed the plugs etc. I've always owned a Ford truck from 79, 95, 97 Ranger, 04 Heritage and now this 2013.
