2012 F150 Backup Camera
Hello, I bought a nice 2012 F150 XLT with everything I wanted except the backup camera. I would like to add one, either a factory unit, or one that is indistinguishable from a factory unit. I found a kit from Camera Source that includes a replacement rear-view mirror with the video screen built in. My truck doesn't have Nav, so there is no screen in the center stack. Does anybody know if the compass module is located in the mirror? The compass display is in the center stack beside the clock readout. Has anybody retrofitted a factory backup camera into a 2010-2014? Thanks.
