Tried the Collinite 845. Just hand washed yesterday and have never noticed water beading like that before. So far, very impressed and look forward to seeing how it holds up.

I've tried them all, as in ALL. Couple of months back I gave these guys a shot without expecting too much. Their products are very good.

I've been using it for years.
Paint must be ready before applying the Collinite. It will not remove scratches, stains, waterspots or anything that does not belong there.
It will protect the paint from all of the above tho.
Goes on easy, comes off easy. Does not stain the rubber, plastic, glass or any other material.
Try it - you'll like it.
Buy it on Ebay or Amazon.
Collinite: Highly over rated compared to the better products. As mentioned it does nothing for any existing issues with the paint. If you don't clay and polish first you're just sealing in all the crap.

Absolutely stains plastic and is very difficult to remove especially the bed caps. You'll be starting a thread asking what is the best product to remove dried wax off on the plastic. Wears out long before most all others.

Applied over clean paint it looks and works great for a short period of time.

Griot's Garage products and better still the Car Guys paint products are the best. I have a brand new bottle of Collinite here that's going to be given away to my neighbor. This stuff is highly OVER RATED.

I just bought a new ruby red F150. Is there a safe cleaner wax to clean up the residue for sitting on the lot for a few months?

Me:

I would buy a non aggressive polish and do the car and then wax.

I don't believe in a "cleaner wax". There are cleaners/polishes and then there are sealants/waxes.

The absolute best way is to clay bar the truck if you're wanting to get the very best results.

I used a liquid wax that was Barrett Jackson, just like the famous auto auction. Easy to apply, plastic friendly and comes off easy. Durabilty is TBD (to be determined).
