How to best to clean inside windshield?
There appears to be a "film" on the inside of the windshield that is a pain to clean off without smears. I don't smoke nor has a cigarette ever been in my truck so not sure why it keeps coming back over time. Normally I don't notice how bad it is unless driving into direct sunlight or a cool morning that causes the windshield to fog.
I've tried Invisible Glass and No Streak Windex.
What are you folks using? It is driving me nuts.

I was given one of these for Christmas years ago and it does take away that "haze or fog" that builds up on the inside of the windshield. Its meant for fog or condensation but it does work for what you describe (at least for me). It lasts for awhile, however, the fog always comes right back. I have no clue what causes it! I'd love to know how others deal with this too!

Okay I tried the damp micro cloth with just distilled water and buffed it dry with another dry micro cloth. That film seems like a grease so really interested if just water can cut it. It was getting dark so will have to check it out in the morning. My commute is driving east in the morning and west coming home, so I am driving into the sun both ways.
I think the Invisible Glass or Windex itself will leave a film if you don't rinse it off completely. I use invisible glass to clean, then rinse with a very damp (water) paper towel, then a slightly damp (water) paper towel. At this point, the windshield should be just a tiny bit damp. Then i wipe completely dry with a microfiber towel (ideally, one wipe with the microfiber should get it dry).
Its a pain to do all these steps, but that film drives me crazy.

I've tried windex....I think that actually did more harm than good. My wife is telling me a water and vinegar solution. If she ends up being right after all this......well it doesn't matter, she is always right. ;-)
