Simple Green for the engine, rinse with hose. I run the car while I do this, or at least have it warmed up

I use Meguiars Gold Class Liquid Wax, sometimes Quik Wax.

Armor All is a no-go. Alcohol based, dries up dash components. I think the wipes are NOT alcohol based so that is ok, but I dont remember. I use Meguiars interior products as well.

Feel free to ask me any questions.

I didn't think there was anything wrong with it either until I read a report a few years ago about it. Made perfect sense to me.

As for cleaning the rear part of your bay, just be careful not to over do it with water. I recommend you warm up your car, spray simple green, rinse off (with car on or off). Making sure the engine is warm will help dry quicker.
