all of my friends use mcguires...ive used their plast-x product which is good to get the haisy residue off of the head and tail lights, and it also good for the plastic bumpers, and chrome plastics etc.

Yeah everything I have read about Back to Black (Mother's) is stay away from it because it will cause your black to turn white . I just recently picked up some stuff called Hyper Dressing (Meguire's) and I give it two huge , this stuff makes your back plastic look wet even after it's dry. It comes in a concentrate and you can dilute it to suit your finishing taste. Anywhere from a high gloss to a natural look.

Another product that I have heard great things about it 303 Aerospace protectant.

I actually used it for the first time a couple days ago and so far I'm pretty happy with the results. I'm really waiting for about a week before I give a true review of my opinion of it. The one thing I have noticed so far is a little bit of sling, but I really didn't give it alot of drying time before I got in my truck and drove it. What I may do next time I use it is give it some time to dry and then take a terry cloth or microfiber to even it out and remove any excess.

those products are used when a truck fads and you want to restore it. the mans truck is brand NEW and wants to prevent fading . I would say go talk to a pro. detailer and it would be worth getting them to do it the first time or at least see what they have to say. calvin

I agree with Calvin. I am a detailer and would not use anything on the interior plastic. A damp lint free cloth is all you need. Using a dressing will only make it shiny and slippery. If you so desire use a leather dressing on the seats. On the exterior use a non abrasive ( no cleaner) carnuba wax. The main thing is to wash and wax the truck often.
