Work on small areas at a time, with soap and water, after cleaning and clear water use Mothers to get that smooth slick feal back.

Mix a solution of 1 part Hydrogen Peroxide with 1 part water in a spray bottle. Spray the critters, wait a minute, and they'll wipe right off.

won't that damage the paint by oxidizing it?

Warm wet towel does it everytime. Works well when bugs are freshly squished also.

A lot of Harley guys use this method. We're petty picky about our paint. Test in a small inconspicuos area if you're nervous about it. Apparently it nueutralizes the enzymes in the critters.

Som guys even use it full strength.

There are 3 products/techniques I use and have had excellent success on motorcycles, suv's and exotic sports cars with great success.

Honda cleaner/polish works great available at most Honda motorcycle shops.
Meguire's clay bar kit.
Mequire's Ultimate Compound.

Have yet to have tar, bugs, etc. that I could not remove.

Best of Luck

Bull

I have found an ammonia based glass cleaner with a lint free rag will work really good.

best thing is too buy a box of dryer sheets for $2. I usually use 2 per cleaning. The webbing in the sheets makes it simple

spray the front with water \ wait a min

moisten the sheet and rub away

rinse and your done
