I posted my first time yesterday in 2015+ forum and it said it had to be approved by a moderator (I do understand why). My question is how long does it normally take to get approval?

I wrote an introduction post about a day ago, but it hasn't been approved (or hasn't been approved yet).
Is there somewhere we can view our threads that are awaiting approval?
Will I receive any notification once my post has been approved or declined?

Being a moderator on multiple other forums, I think it's a great system to help control spam and appropriate content.
But I am curious, are all members required to have their posts approved before being published, or only members who have less than a certain number of posts?

 

Your post was approved by the time I saw this. Not everyone is required to be approved. We have increased the spam security and it in turn causes some users to be accidentally labeled as "suspicious" and will then require your first post to be moderated. Yours was probably moderated because its picture heavy, and all pictures of Volvos not F150s. You are good to go now.

I never received notification of approval. My 1st post was a reply to a thread. After I posted, something appeared on my screen to the effect that my post had to approved before posting. It was never approved and my post was gone completely. I reposted the same info again later when I found out my 1st post was missing and my new post showed up right away.

 

Just went through & approved all thread/ posts that were held up.
